Why Work Wellness?
In a world that constantly asks us to take on more, I see healthcare workers particularly in need. A sector full of professionals that are hard working, high achieving, ethically driven, and above all passionate about health and patient care. But I see many afraid of making mistakes and feeling increasingly isolated, with tendencies to self-sacrifice and self-blame. Ultimately, when added to ever-increasing workloads, I see a population primed to burnout.
As a GP this was me 5 years ago. I ignored the signs until one day it was too much. The lid came off from all that mental overload and suppressed emotion. I was lost and stuck. Afraid of myself, the future and work that seemed unmanageably stressful and lacked meaning. I began a long journey to reinvent myself. Rediscover, accept and love myself. Build a supportive routine and shape work into something more sustainable and fulfilling.

Why Coaching?
For some of my journey I found work coaching. It hugely hastened and eased the process. Surprisingly quickly, I felt more mentally and emotionally balanced, more fulfilled in work, and was far clearer in my direction.
I now believe everyone has their own solutions to their issues, can realise their own deep motivation to change, and can achieve the dreams they set with a bit of guidance and support...so I say dream big, and accept support!
A coach:

What now?
In my experience, often just advice on what can help is not enough to result in long term and sustainable change. We need to find our own WHY and our own WAY which coaching facilitates.
As a lifestyle medicine GP with this unique journey and now qualified life coach I feel fully equipped to not only share useful information and wisdom in health and wellness, but also offer coaching as the link to help as many people as possible achieve long term and sustainable change.
My mission begins with helping healthcare professional workers thrive through a combination of 1:1 burnout recovery coaching and work wellness workshops.
My vision is then to expand my services to help anyone work out their individual WHY and WAY to improve specific common healthcare conditions.
